CARPAZI: l’arrivo al Danubio!
The Carpathian Traverse: the arrival to the Danube! (details see below)

From the Danube to the Danube: it took me two winters to cross all the long mountainous Carpathian chain from Bratislava (Slovakia) to the “Iron Gates” (border Romania-Serbia). A journey and an adventure with the main goal to meet population living in this mountains on the edge of Europe. In these days I reached my destination after this long arc between water and mountains. Between two images – the first with the Danube in Bratislava and second with the fishermen at the “Iron Gates” – I brought home an avalanche of strong emotions and stories I’ll soon put on paper. After weeks of walking mainly with skis, now the emotional journey through the white pages begins…. All this wouldn’t have be possible without all the friends who joined and guided me: Slovakia/Poland: Fedor e Samuel Martis, Janos Uhlar, Peter Kramer, Milos Gazdarica, Jaro Michalko e Jakub Sakala /Ukraine: Irina Krizhnenko /Romania: Iulian Cozma and Mihai Constantenec ! If you’re interested, I join some of the most emotional pics of the adventure.
